Buddleja davidii 'Leela Kapila' is a British cultivar, raised by Jack Jones of the Isle of Arran, Scotland, and named for a highly esteemed Nottingham doctor on the occasion of her retirement.

Description
'Leela Kapila' is a small shrub, growing to 1 m in height, chiefly distinguished by its small chartreuse leaves. The inflorescences are panicles of cerise red flowers, 15–25 cm in length. The shrub is reputedly best grown in shade.
Cultivation
'Leela Kapila' has become popular in the UK and western Europe, but is not known to have been introduced to North America. In the UK it is included in the NCCPG National Collection held by Longstock Park Nursery near Stockbridge in Hampshire. Hardiness: USDA zones 5–9.
