Description

'White Spread' is a low growing shrub, extending more horizontally than vertically to typical dimensions of 0.9 × 1.2 m. The plant is chiefly distinguished by its grey-green foliage, rather than its panicles of intense white flowers, and considered 'a real improvement on 'White Bouquet'

Cultivation

'White Spread' has become common in cultivation in the Netherlands and Germany. It is grown in the USA in the collection of Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania.
