Buddleja davidii 'Croyde' is a cultivar raised from a seedling discovered growing on waste ground in the eponymous Devon village by nurseryman Martin Hugh-Jones, and introduced to commerce in 2004.

Description
'Croyde' is distinguished by its long, slender purple panicles, complemented by narrow grey to olive green leaves which resemble those of var. nanhoensis. [1]
Cultivation
'Croyde' is rare in cultivation, and is not known to have been introduced to North America or continental Europe. Hardiness: USDA zones 5–9.
