Buddleja 'Blue Gown' is a hybrid cultivar raised at Sir John Quicke's garden at Newton St Cyres, in Devon, England. The ancestry of 'Blue Gown' is unknown, but it has been speculated the plant is the result of a crossing of B. crispa and B. davidii

Description
Flowering in mid to late spring, 'Blue Gown' grows to a height of 3.0 m, with a spread of much the same dimension. The foliage is similar to B. crispa, the flowers blue.
Cultivation
'Blue Gown' is rare in cultivation, and not known beyond the UK. Hardiness: USDA zones 6–9.
