Bruce Tyrone Maxwell (born December 20, 1990) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Career
Maxwell was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, while his father was stationed there during a tour of duty.
Maxwell played college baseball at Birmingham–Southern College. He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the second round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.
Maxwell was called up to the majors for the first time on July 23, 2016. He made his major league debut that night.
