Bruce Reichman is an American soccer coach. Born to Irvin and Ruth Reichman, he was raised in Miami Beach, Florida, and graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso. Reichman has three children. He is a charter faculty member of Del Valle High School, where he has coached football from 1987–1994 and again in 2011. He has been the only men’s soccer coach at Del Valle since its inception in 1987 to the present. When he was hired as the soccer coach, he knew very little about the sport being from an American football background. Reichman quickly acclimated to soccer claiming he fell in love with the game because of the athleticism and the fast pace of the game. He has since gained local, state and national recognition for his accomplishments. Reichman is a board member with the Sun Bowl Association, and Chairman of the Sun Bowl Soccer Tournament. He was inducted into the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009, elected vice President of the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010, and then served two terms as President, 2012 and re-elected for the 2013 term. He is also the 2008 National Federation of High Schools State Coach of the Year and Sectional Coach of the Year as well as the 2008 UIL Texas State Coach of the Year. The Texas Association of Soccer Coaches named him “Coach of The Year” in 2012 and “Regional Coach of the Year in 2013. On May 23, 2014 a documentary film entitled The El Paso Conquest was released highlighting Reichman's work with the Del Valle High School Soccer program. He claims that one of his biggest honors is to have two former players as his assistants Coach Oswaldo Vasquez and Alfredo Estrada who both played for him at the start of his career at Del Valle.
