Brooks Tipton


James Brooks Tipton (born October 9, 1981) is an American musician who has played in several bands. He toured and recorded with Unwed Sailor from 2003-2008. He appeared as keyboardist on their 2009 release Little Wars. He joined the American rock band Colour Revolt in early 2010. Brooks performed with the Epitaph band Thursday on their final tours in the United States, Canada, and Australia in 2011/2012. Brooks is the touring piano/keyboard player for the Universal Republic group Secret Sisters. Brooks is the touring Keys/Synthesizer player for Concord recording artists Manchester Orchestra

Brooks joined songwriter Vincent Griffin of Little Rock to form the band Bear Colony in 2006. Bear Colony is a collective of musicians who have recorded two studio albums, (We Came Here To Die, 2007) and ("Soft Eyes",2013) Brooks has played piano/keyboards with singer/songwriter Chase Pagan since 2003.

Brooks is the owner/operator of Electric Ghost Screen Printing LLC. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
