Broadway (Ernakulam)

Broadway is a shopping street in Ernakulam in Kerala. It is one of the most important shopping areas in the city.

The name "Broadway" is ironically a joke of these times, since it is currently the most narrow street in the town, with one-way traffic enforced. The best way to negotiate with the traffic is by traveling on an Auto Rickshaw. However, at Broadway, one can find almost everything - ranging from old copper pots (ready to smelt) to latest fashion in clothing and jewellery, books. One can even find one of the best furniture shops in town run by a Cochin Jew.
