British-Africans In Government (BIG) is a staff network for Africans working in different fields within the British Government.

The network aims to "To develop a strong network of British Africans in Government in order to assist the development of Africa", thus enhancing British-African relationships.

The network supports policy development in Africa and assists African Governments, African Embassies and the African community in the UK in capacity building, good governance and community development. It also works with relevant UK NGOs to build capacity of the African community in the UK to improve community cohesion, reassurance, and community development; while promoting a good image of African affairs, engaging in partnerships with bodies advancing coherence and transparency in Africa.

The network is recognised by the Civil Service and membership is open to all staff working for the UK Government.
