Brightside (formerly, Brightside Station) is an unincorporated community in Alameda County, California. It is located 2.25 miles (3.6 km) west of Sunol, at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m). At the turn of the 20th century a vacation/resort area and previously a gravel quarry, it is now the site of the train yard belonging to Niles Canyon Railway.
