The Brazilian training ship Brasil is a training ship of the Brazilian Navy. She was ordered in June 1981 with a budget of $124.2m. She was ordered as a modified version of the Niteroi class of frigates, without weapons or sensors, and has since been used to carry 200 midshipmen - officers in training - from the Brazilian Naval and Merchant Marine Academies.
