Brazil–Denmark relations are foreign relations between Brazil and Denmark. Brazil has an embassy in Denmark, and Denmark has an embassy in Brazil. Diplomatic relations were established in 1828, after a treaty of commerce and navigation were signed. In 1922, a Danish cultural office were opened in Rio de Janeiro. In 1929, the hundredth anniversary of diplomatic relations were held with festivities in Brazil. On 30 July 1936, a commercial agreement were signed.
In 2008, Brazils export amounted 2,1 billion DKK. Danish export amounted $1,7 billion.
State visits
Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen visited Brazil in 2007. Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva visited Denmark during his presidency.
