Brava3D was a Dutch cultural 3D television channel aimed at the European market which launched on 25 November 2010 Free-to-air on the Astra 3B satellite. The programming consisted of opera, ballet, and concerto productions recorded in opera houses such as the Royal Opera House, the Teatro Real, and the La Scala. The productions consists of stage performances such as La bohème, Othello, Aida, Swan Lake, Tosca, Zoroastre and Così fan tutte. The channel was founded by Jur Bron and Gerard Ardesch and officially owned by their company TV Digitaal BV. In December 2011 the Brava TV Group announced that Strengholt BV became co-owner of Brava3D. The channel closed on 1 August 2012.
