Brattnipane Peaks is a group of peaks, the highest 2,660 metres (8,730 ft) high, standing 9 nautical miles (17 km) northwest of Mefjell Mountain in the Sør Rondane Mountains. They were mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and in 1957 in greater detail from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47. They were named Brattnipane (the "steep peaks") by the Norwegians.
