Branko Pešić (1 October 1922 – 4 February 1986) was a member of the Yugoslav resistance forces during the World War II in Yugoslavia, and later leader of the Yugoslav Communist party in Belgrade and Mayor of Belgrade from 1964 to 1974.

Pešić was one of the most famous Belgrade mayors, and his decade-long tenure saw the construction of many important projects including the Mostar interchange, Gazela Bridge and Terazije Tunnel.
