Braddah Kimo's is a locally distilled authentic Maui rum, made from molasses produced in the last surviving sugarmill at Puunene, Maui, Hawaii USA. It is made by Haleakala Distillers, a small company based in Makawao, Maui. In 2007 Braddah Kimo's Extreme 155 Rum won a gold medal in US competition, and in 2008 a silver medal at the International Cane Spirits Festival. This rum is not sold on the US mainland or anywhere outside Hawaii. Its high proof, 155, makes it ineligible for transport on any airliner, in checked or carry on baggage.
