The Bowling Green State University College of Business Administration is the business school of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Undergraduate students at BGSU earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and then specialize from among 14 areas, including an Individualized Business specialization, a program where students can design their degree. Innovation, experiential learning and interactive teaching are core values of the College. The undergraduate curriculum emphasizes unique Applied Business Experience (BizX) lab courses, a capstone course immersing students into real business problems, an integrated first-year business experience and co-curricular activities, such as internships, membership in student organizations, and applying to “The Hatch,” a unique entrepreneurial program where students vie for investor funding to launch their own businesses.

The Supply Chain Management Program within the College of Business has been ranked nationally by U.S. News & World Report. Students and their organizations have competed and placed among the top teams nationally and internationally, making them among the best student business organizations in the world.

At the graduate level, five master's programs are offered including the MBA (full-time, Executive MBA, and Professional MBA), Master of Accountancy, Master of Economics, Master of Science in Applied Statistics, and Executive Master of Organization Development. BGSU is a leader among graduate business programs, recognized for a curriculum that advances business professionals in a global marketplace.

College of Business departments

Accounting and Management Information Systems (AMIS) The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems (AMIS) at Bowling Green State University focuses on new information technology and the increasingly global business environment. The department’s goal is to develop accounting and information system leaders for the 21st century who will not only acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for their next job but also the tools for building a lifelong successful career. The faculty includes a University Master Teacher. Undergraduate students who are majoring in business can choose from several specializations: accounting, information systems auditing and control (ISAC), and management information systems (MIS). At the graduate level, the department offers a Master of Accountancy with three tracks - Accounting and Auditing, Taxation, and ISAC. The Accounting and Auditing track is the most popular.

Both the accounting department and the College of Business Administration are accredited by the AACSB. At the graduate level, the department offers a Master of Accountancy with three tracks of specializations- Accounting and Auditing, Taxation, and ISAC. Dr. David Stott serves as the chair of the department. GA offices include a suite called the "MAcc Cave."

Applied Statistics and Operations Research (ASOR) The ASOR department offers an undergraduate specialization in the fast-growing field of business analytics and intelligence, along with a minor in applied statistics. The department also offers graduate studies leading to a Master of Science in Applied Statistics (offered jointly with the BGSU Department of Mathematics and Statistics), and a master’s in applied statistics with a specialization in business analytics. The ASOR department is also home to the Center for Business Analytics which focuses on services to external companies and organizations with ideas, methodologies, innovations, solutions, and practical implementations to produce tangible results through a variety of quantitative approaches. It also hosts an annual Business Analytics Symposium.

Economics The Department of Finance offers undergraduate studies leading to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in finance. Students can also study to earn the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) by taking courses in the Certified Financial Planner Concentration within the finance specialization. After completing courses in the financial planning concentration, students will meet the educational requirements of the CFP® Certified Financial Board of Standards and be eligible to sit for the CFP ® certification examination. Faculty members publish papers in top-tier refereed journals and have earned distinguished research awards for their work. Students can also specialize in insurance, one of the few four year insurance programs in the country.

Management The Department of Management is home to one of the nation’s top supply chain management programs, according to U.S. News & World Report. Along with the supply chain specialization, the department also offers an international business specialization and an international business minor so students are prepared for the global economy. A new specialization of management has also been added and the department offers a minor in management. At the graduate level, the department offers an executive program in organization development. The faculty, which includes distinguished educators and endowed professors, are recognized internationally for their contributions to their fields. The department is home to the Supply Chain Management Institute whose mission is to build collaborative relationships with companies to promote excellence in supply chain management education and practice.

Marketing The Department of Marketing offers two specializations: marketing which helps students in identifying market opportunities and developing and implementing marketing programs and sales and services marketing specialization, one of the only universities in the country to offer a marketing program focused specifically on both sales and services marketing. The faculty includes a Fulbright Scholar who is an international expert in services marketing as well as faculty who teach business communication and entrepreneurship.

Within the marketing department is the Service Marketing Institute which provides engagement and learning opportunities for students, faculty, and the business community. Two of the programs it hosts include the BGSU Sales Competition and the nation’s only Service Marketing Competition.
