"Boom Tarat Tarat" is a novelty song popularized by Willie Revillame and composed by Lito Camo. There are some variations of the song - the first version of the dance remix premiered August 3, 2006. The second version, featuring a faster tempo and techno, club-style drumming, premiered on November 27, 2006. The third version, featuring a normal tempo and non-Christmas lyrics premiered on January 1, 2007. The full holiday, non-remixed version is featured in Revillame's Christmas CD, Namamasko Po. The song has been quite popular in mainstream radio, with heavy airplay during holiday season and the first weeks of 2007. On February 2007, TEAM Unity senatorial candidate Bukidnon Rep. Juan Miguel "Migz" F. Zubiri was given permission by the song's author, Lito Camo, to use Boom Tarat Tarat as his election jingle for the May 14, 2007 midterm elections.
