Bob Thompson (1968-) is a British writer and producer best known for co-creating the hugely successful Bionicle intellectual property for the Lego Company and producing the original multi award-winning Lego Bionicle movies.

Career
Thompson is the founder of Cardiff based Good Story Productions, a film and TV production studio with multi-platform expertise, Thompson formerly worked at the BBC and BBC Worldwide.
Notable works
In 2003 Bob Thompson was executive producer, and one of the story writers on the first Bionicle movie, Bionicle: Mask of Light.
In 2004 Thompson was executive producer, and story writer for Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru Nui.
In 2005 Thompson was executive producer for Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows.
In 2009 it was announced Thompson would be one of the producers for sci-fi thriller Ultramarines: The Movie.
