The black-headed kingfisher (Actenoides capucinus) is a species of kingfisher endemic to the eastern and southern regions of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It can be found in dense lowland forests up to 900 m elevation. It is threatened by habitat destruction by deforestation.

This species was recently elevated to species status, being previously considered green-backed kingfishers.
