Violence

Violent incidents have occurred in or around nationwide clubhouses.

  • In 2002 a President Bull of the Zodiacs MC was killed after he pulled a gun on his former prospect who was partying at the Mother chapter with a new club in which he was interested. The former prospect slashed Bull's throat with a knife when he inadvertently looked away during the confrontation. This was the first killing ever committed at a BSMC clubhouse and it brought the city of San Diego down on top of the club house. The City Attorney initiated a campaign to shut the clubhouse down that nearly finished the BSMC off. Then National President Paul 'Pep' Perry stated that he knew there was a beef between the two but the President Bull had promised before entering the clubhouse that he would never bring violence to the BSMC clubhouse. The clubhouse was subsequently firebombed in retaliation for Bull's killing.
  • In February 2010 the Mother chapter at 4280 was again targeted by arsonists who attempted to burn it to the ground right before the 2010 annual but were unsuccessful.
  • In 2010 a man was fatally shot in a hail of gunfire outside the Phoenix chapter of the BSMC club house during an altercation over a woman. He died a block away while fleeing the scene. This incident caused the closing of the Phoenix chapter clubhouse.
  • On May 11, 2012 San Diego Mother Chapter President Wild Dogg was murdered in front of the Black Sabbath MC clubhouse at 4280 Market Street during a drive by assassination. The case is still unsolved and open.
