William "Billy" Stagg (born 17 October 1957) is a retired English football winger who played in the Football League for Brentford. He also played in Sweden and the United States. Stagg's 5'4" height ties him with Hughie Reed for the record of shortest Brentford player.

Career

A graduate of the Brentford youth team, Stagg made four appearances for the Bees during the 1974–75 Division Four campaign at the age of 16. Stagg was released in the summer of 1975 and dropped into non-league football, playing for Wealdstone (two spells), Staines Town, Aylesbury United, Hazells, Tonbridge Angels, Northwood (three spells), Hendon and St Albans City. He had a short spell with Swedish Division Two side GAIS during the 1980 season, scoring in a 4–0 win over eventual champions Örgryte IS.
