Billy Kedian

Billy Kedian was an Irish Army soldier. Died 31 May 1999.

A native of Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, Kedian was serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon when he was killed by Israeli-backed milita in Braachit.

Kedian was a member of the 85th Battalion, and had arrived in Lebanon six weeks earlier.

He was buried in his hometown on Monday 7 June 1999, survived by his parents, Doris and Bill, and his sisters Mary and Ann.
