William "Bill" Craig Martin is professor of sociology at the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), University of Queensland, and has sat on the editorial board of the Journal of Sociology. He was previously employed at the National Institute of Labour Studies (NILS), department of sociology, Flinders University in Adelaide. His main research interests are in the sociology of work and employment.
