Big Brother Canada 3 is the third season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother Canada. It is based upon the Dutch series of the same name, which gained notoriety in 1999 and 2000. It was produced by Endemol USA, Shaw Media, and Insight Productions. The series premiered on Global on March 23, 2015 and ended after 70 days - the shortest season to date - on May 27, 2015, where Sarah Hanlon was named the winner, and Godfrey Mangwiza the runner-up.

The series revolves around sixteen strangers living in a house together with no communication with the outside world. They are constantly filmed during their time in the house, and are not permitted to communicate with those filming them. One HouseGuest, known as the Head of Household, has the task of nominating two of their fellow HouseGuests for eviction. The Power of Veto can be used to save a nominee. The HouseGuests then vote to evict one of the nominees, with the HouseGuest who receives the most votes being evicted from the house. When only two HouseGuests remained, the previously evicted HouseGuests decide which of them would win the grand prize of $100,000, a $10,000 trip to anywhere in the world courtesy of Twistos, as well as a $25,000 home makeover from The Brick. The runner-up received a $20,000 cash prize.
Development
Having aired fourteen seasons of the United States' edition in the country, it was confirmed that Canada would receive its own edition of the program in 2013. The new series was produced by Endemol USA and Insight Productions. The first season aired on Slice and proved to be a ratings hit for the network, averaging a total of 2.7 million viewers throughout its course. The second season continued to have the success of its predecessor, and saw the launch of a new spin-off series titled Big Brother Side Show. The finale for the second season had higher viewership than a 2014 Stanley Cup playoff game. The show's first two seasons were nominated for five Canadian Screen Awards in 2014 and 2015. The third season was officially confirmed by host Arisa Cox on June 4, 2014 through her Twitter account. She later confirmed the return of both Big Brother: After Dark and Big Brother Side Show.
Casting for the third season began on August 20, 2014. John Brunton of Insight Productions stated "Big Brother Canada season two was a blockbuster for the franchise with a perfect storm of personalities pitted against each other inside the Big Brother house and cut off from the outside world [...] The bar has once again been raised and we know our BBCAN Superfans will bring their A-Game to the casting calls this year." Casting was yet again run by Robyn Kass of Kassting, who had done the casting work for the previous seasons and the American edition of the show. There were seven casting calls scheduled, with dates in Vancouver, Calgary, Regina, Halifax, St. John's, Montreal and Toronto throughout October and November. Online applications were also available, with the deadline being November 24, 2014. Former HouseGuests Jon Pardy and Neda Kalantar appeared at the Toronto casting call. The first promo for the season premiered on December 17. The cast was revealed in a three-night special on ET Canada, starting on March 16, 2015. Six HouseGuests were revealed on the first night, with five additional HouseGuests being revealed on the second and third nights. This makes season three the season with the most official HouseGuests to date (although Season 2 had 15 Official Houseguest and 2 additional potential Houseguests).
Twistos returned as a sponsor for the series, having previously sponsored the second season. The twists used throughout the season are referred to as "Twistos Twists", and often impact the dynamics of the game. KFC, OxiClean, Shomi, Ramada, and Pizza Pizza also sponsored the series for its third run, with Ramada and Pizza Pizza being returning sponsors. Arisa Cox and Dan Gheesling, the winner of the tenth season of Big Brother's American edition, appeared on The Morning Show to promote the show's premiere.
Production
Cox confirmed both her return to the series, and its move to Global in June 2014. Global had previously aired the United States's version of the series. Barbara Williams of Shaw Media additionally confirmed this, adding "Our Canadian edition of the beloved Big Brother franchise has quickly become one of the most acclaimed productions in the world and with its move to Global this year, Big Brother Canada’s third installment is looking for the biggest, boldest personalities in Canada to entertain our audiences three nights a week on-air and 24/7 online." Despite the main show's change in network, both Big Brother: After Dark and Big Brother After Show are set to air on Slice. Cox later expressed pleasure in the show's move to Global, believing it could achieve a wider audience.
The house this season was the same as the one used in the previous season, though features a dramatic makeover. The newly redesigned house was revealed through Global on March 20, 2015. The new house was designed by Pete Farragher, who described its decor as having a "steampunk vibe". Farragher cited the British version of the series as an influence on his design, with the goal being to make the HouseGuests feel uncomforable. The layout of the house remained the same as the year prior, with the entrance, bathroom, and bedrooms located upstairs. The walls were covered in exposed gears, cogs, pipes, and valves to add to the industrial feel. The Head of Household room was compared to the parlor of the Nautilus from the science-fiction novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870). Faraggher described the main bedroom, which featured blue and white themes, as "cool" and "dreamy", with the intention of making the HouseGuests feel "safe". The kitchen table was designed to look like a large bicycle chain with cogs and a sprocket running underneath it.
With its move to Global, the third season saw a change in its weekly broadcasting schedule. For this season, the live eviction and Head of Household episode airs on Wednesday nights at 9 PM Eastern Time. The live episodes see host Arisa Cox revealing who has been evicted from the house, as well as an interview with the recently evicted cast member. The second weekly episode airs on Sunday at 7 PM, and features the weekly Have-Not competition and the nomination ceremony. The third and final episode airs on Monday at 8 PM, and sees both the Power of Veto competition and ceremony take place. Following their broadcast on Global, the episodes are posted on the show's official website for free streaming.
Future Appearances
Sarah Hanlon co-hosted the Big Brother Canada side show alongside Peter Brown and Arisa Cox. Godfrey Mangwiza made an appearance on the side show during season four. Hanlon returned to host a veto competition in the fourth season.
Summary
The sixteen HouseGuests entered the house on March 19, 2015. The house was empty upon their arrival, and they learned they would have to earn the furniture and their personal belongings. The first twist of the season saw all of the HouseGuests being crowned Head of Household, meaning they would all nominate two HouseGuests for eviction; the two with the most votes would be the nominees for the week. Risha and Sindy received the most votes, thus were nominated for eviction. That same night, Bobby, Kevin, Naeha, and Zach were selected to compete with the nominees in the "V is for Veto" Power of Veto competition. The challenge required the HouseGuests to build a Power of Veto shaped puzzle and crack a three-digit code to earn the final piece. Sindy was the winner, being the first HouseGuest to finish her puzzle. Minutes later, it was revealed that if Sindy used the Power of Veto she would be required to choose a replacement nominee; she chose to save herself, and named Pilar the replacement nominee. On Day 2, the HouseGuests were given a task to earn their belongings. They found five large balloons in the backyard, and learned that they would be required to hold them up for five hours each to advance to the next stage; the balloons had a number inside, and the five numbers served as a code. Kevin learned in the Diary Room that he would earn $1,000 if he popped one of the balloons; he did so, and earned the prize. On Day 3, the HouseGuests finished the task, and learned that they would be required to figure out the code to unlock the Vault, where their items were located. Zach successfully unlocked the Vault, and the HouseGuests earned their items. That same day, Ashleigh, Bobby, Bruno, Graig, Willow, and Zach formed the Chop Shop alliance. Jordan and Zach formed the Newport alliance, with the goal of making it to the end together. On Day 7, the HouseGuests learned that Canada had voted to evict either Risha or Pilar, and that they would not be voting that night. Risha then became the first HouseGuest to be evicted. However, host Arisa Cox announced that Risha and the next four evictees will compete in a competition for a shot to return to the House.
Following Risha's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the "Wall to Wall" endurance Head of Household competition. For this competition, HouseGuests stood on two small ledges on opposite sides of two glass walls. They initially had a rope to hold onto, though this was later taken away. Bobby was the winner, making him the first official Head of Household of the season. Bobby and his Chop Shop alliance originally planned to target Godfrey, though Bobby wanted to nominate Brittnee and Kevin as they were the first to fall in the Head of Household competition. Bobby further hoped to evict Kevin from the house, believing that he and Johnny were becoming too close in the house. On Day 8, the first eight HouseGuests to fall from the Head of Household competition were required to compete in the Have-Not competition, "Have-Not Slop-Off". HouseGuests played in one-on-one matches. HouseGuests had to fill a bucket with slop, and set it on one of the designated spots on the beam. Their opponent could use dodgeballs to knock the slop buckets or their opponents off the beam. The HouseGuest that puts all four buckets on their beam first is the winner of the match-up and is a Have for the week. The losers of the match-ups will be the Have-Nots for the week. Brittnee, Godfrey, Jordan, and Naeha became the Have-Nots for the week. On Day 9, Bobby chose to nominate Brittnee and Kevin for eviction. The girls agreed to work together to evict Kevin from the house, though when Kevin overheard this he quickly informed the boys. This led to the guys in the house forming an alliance, and the target shifting from Kevin to Sindy. That night, Godfrey, Willow, and Johnny were selected to compete in the "Dam It" Power of Veto competition, which Jordan hosted. The competition saw those competing attempting to spell out a phrase using pieces of wood that they retrieve from a pile. The game saw the HouseGuests dress as beavers, and they were required to swim through a "dam" to get to their puzzle; Kevin was the winner. On Day 11, Kevin chose to use the Power of Veto to remove himself from the block, with Bobby choosing to nominate Sindy in his place. On Day 14, Sindy received a unanimous vote from her fellow housemates making her the second houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother House.
Following Sindy's eviction, the HouseGuests battled in the "Story Time" Head of Household competition. Houseguests played head to head and answered a true-false question based on a bedtime story told to them by Big Brother. The Houseguest that survived the round would then pick the next two Houseguests to face off. The last houseguest standing was the winner. Kevin became the new Head of Household. Immediately following his win, Kevin was called to the Vault. Kevin was informed by Arisa of an instant eviction, and he was given five minutes to make nominations. He ultimately decided to nominate Brittnee and Naeha, with Naeha being his main target. The Houseguests were then informed of the instant eviction and that all the Houseguests will be forced to reveal their eviction vote publicly to the rest of the house. On Day 15, Naeha was evicted by a 9-2 vote, with Johnny and Sarah voting to evict Brittnee. The Houseguests, excluding Kevin, then paired up for the "Switching Gears" Head of Household competition. Houseguests were required to hold their partner up on oversized gears. After a duo fell, they had to decide who would open one of the boxes to receive a gift, good or bad. Graig received $1,000 and a letter from home, Zach won a four-week slop pass, both Ashleigh and Jordan had to wear snorkeling gear for 24 hours (as they couldn't decide which if the two should receive it), Johnny had to smash a pie in his face every time he was instructed by Big Brother for 24 hours, and Willow had to stay on top of an oversized gear in the backyard for 24 hours. Brittnee and Sarah were the winners, and Brittnee became the new Head of Household. As Head of Household, Brittnee had to name four HouseGuests as Have-Nots for the week. She named Ashleigh, Bobby, Kevin, and Zach as Have-Nots for the week. Brittnee, Sarah, and Johnny then plotted to backdoor Graig, while making the rest of the Houseguests believe her real target was Johnny. On Day 16, Brittnee nominated Bobby and Kevin for eviction. The following day, the Houseguests competed in the "Spooling Around" Power of Veto competition. Houseguests must hook themselves to three large spools of yarn, wrap it around their bodies, unravel it around their large spool, and hit their buzzer. Johnny was the winner of the Power of Veto. On Day 19, Johnny used the Veto on Kevin, with Graig being named as the replacement nominee. On Day 20, the Houseguests competed in an Oxi-Clean sponsored task to find colored T-shirts inside the house. Zach was the winner and earned $1000 and an advantage in the upcoming HOH competition. On Day 21, Graig was evicted by a unanimous 10-0 vote.
Following Graig's eviction, the Houseguests, excluding Brittnee, played in the "Through the Wringer" Head of Household competition. Houseguests must search through suds to find washcloths with letters on them. They must then take their washcloths one at a time back to their rack and spell the phrase "Fight Dirty Laundry". The first person to spell the phrase and hit the button will be the new Head of Household, and they will also receive a $5000 cash prize courtesy of Oxi-Clean. Zach's advantage was one washcloth head start. However, despite Zach's advantage, Bruno was the new Head of Household. After blaming Johnny for Graig's eviction, Bruno made it his mission to avenge Graig's departure. On Day 22, the HouseGuests played in the "Game of Bones" Have-Not competition. Each team was given 20 minutes to guide their blindfolded dog to crawl through a maze to collect bones with food on them. If someone hit a wall, their collar would shock them. The team with the least amount of bones will be the Have-Nots for the week. Brittnee, Pilar, and Willow were the Have-Nots for the week. On Day 23, Bruno nominated Johnny and Sarah for eviction. On Day 24, Bruno, Johnny, and Sarah, along with Bobby, Brittnee, and Kevin, and Zach as the host, fought in the "Game, Set, Match" POV Competition. One at a time, HouseGuests fired an air cannon to knock down the other players' tennis rackets. However, before they fire, the HouseGuests must call out who they are attacking. The target will then put in a lock on one of their rackets to defend their racket. Once a HouseGuest has one racket remaining, they can no longer defend. The last HouseGuest with a tennis racket standing will win the Power of Veto. Bruno won the Power of Veto. After Johnny lost the Power of Veto, Kevin abandoned him and worked to get him evicted. On Day 25, Sarah was given a secret task by Big Brother to place clues around the house, then announce she was sick, then have her fellow HouseGuests find the clues to complete the task. The HouseGuests successfully completed the task and received a special screening of the new medical drama, "Remedy", along with snacks. On Day 26, during the Veto Meeting, Bruno was called to the Vault and was informed that Canada voted for a Double Veto Twist. If the Veto was used, he must remove both Johnny and Sarah from the block and name two new nominees. Bruno, however, decided not to use the Power of Veto and leave his nominations intact. On Day 28, after a unanimous 9-0 vote, Johnny was evicted from the Big Brother house. It was later told that the first five evictees will compete in a competition that has never been seen on Big Brother Canada within the upcoming days.
Following Johnny's eviction, the HouseGuests vied for power in the "Before or After" HOH Competition. HouseGuests were required to state whether one event took place before or after a second event that was named. An incorrect answer eliminated the HouseGuests from the competition. Zach was the last player standing and became the new Head of Household. After his win, Zach was required to name four Have-Nots for the week. He named Bruno, Jordan, Godfrey, and Sarah the Have-Nots for the week. Jordan went to Zach and asked to be put on the block as a pawn to cover up their Newport alliance. On Day 29, the nomination ceremony was held, in which Zach ultimately chose to nominate Godfrey and Jordan. On Day 30, Risha, Sindy, Naeha, Graig, and Johnny contended in the "On the Edge" second chance competition. Out on the stage, they were required to hold onto a rope and stay on various knots within the rope. The last HouseGuest standing received their return ticket to the House. Sindy was the winner and returned to the House. She was then directed to the Vault and was given 30 minutes to solve a logic puzzle. If she can solve the puzzle within the allotted time, she would receive immunity for the week. If she does not, she will be eligible for replacement nomination and must spend the night locked in the Vault. She solved the puzzle in time and obtained immunity for the week. Later that day, Zach, Godfrey, and Jordan, alongside Ashleigh, Sarah, and Pilar, with Sindy as the host, participated in the "Ant Maze" POV Competition. HouseGuests went one at a time and had to crawl through an ant maze to find six food cards, make their way out, and hit their button to lock in their time. The player with the fastest time is the winner of the competition. Zach won the Power of Veto. On Day 33, Zach decided not to use the Power of Veto and kept his nominations intact. On Day 34, Bobby and Sindy were selected by the HouseGuests to participate in a special task. They were locked in the Vault for 24 hours. If one of them hit the button in the Vault, they would receive $10,000 out of the $100,000 grand prize, and they would immediately leave the House. Neither of them took the offer. Sarah, Sindy, Bobby, Brittnee, and Bruno formed an alliance to save Godfrey, overthrow Zach, and go after the other side of the House. On Day 35, Jordan was blindsided by a 5-4 vote. He also became the first member of the jury.
Following Jordan's eviction, the HouseGuests, minus Zach, scrambled in the "Student Film Fest" Head of Household competition. After watching a short blurred film, HouseGuests must buzz in and state the competition the film is showing. If a HouseGuest answered correctly, they must eliminate another player of their choice. An incorrect answer resulted in their own elimination. The last HouseGuest standing was the new Head of Household. Pilar was the winner. Sindy took the opportunity to tell Brittnee and Sarah about her sequester and the Chop Shop. On Day 36, the HouseGuests split up into two teams of four for the "Bubble Ball' Have-Not Competition. Pilar chose Bruno and Sindy to automatically be Haves for the week and sit out of the competition. While being in bubbles, HouseGuests played a traditional game of soccer. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. After Kevin threw the competition, Brittnee, Godfrey, Kevin, and Sarah became the Have-Nots for the week. Kevin then went to Pilar and said that Sindy should go for the safety of the Diaper Alliance. Godfrey also went to Pilar and told her that she was letting Zach, Ashleigh, and Kevin control her game. Later that day, Pilar nominated Godfrey and Sindy for eviction, with Sindy as her target. On Day 37, Pilar, Godfrey, and Sindy, as well as Willow, Bobby, and Kevin, with Sarah as host, strived for power in the "Big Brother Concentration" POV Competition. HouseGuests took turns lifting domes to find color coded food items in a KFC $5 Fill-Up Box. In some domes, there were twists such as losing a turn, starting over with a smaller box, switching boxes with another HouseGuest, or getting eliminated from the competition. The first HouseGuest to completely match their color-coded box wins the Power of Veto, along with $5000 from KFC. Godfrey was the winner. On Day 38, one at a time, all of the HouseGuests were individually given the task to sneak into the Vault undetected. However, Bruno was given a separate task to make sure no one entered the Vault. Bruno passed his task and won a reward for the House. On Day 39, Godfrey chose to remove himself from the block, and Pilar named Brittnee as the replacement nominee. On Day 40, the HouseGuests participated in an activity to have two HouseGuests get in a treadmill car, and travel across Canada in 24 hours by watching a movie and walking at the same time. On Day 42, by a vote 8-0, Sindy was once again evicted from the Big Brother house.
Following Sindy's second eviction, she helped determine the new HOH in the "Ratetribution" competition. Arisa asked a question to Sindy on a scale of 1 to 100. After Sindy answered, the HouseGuests then guessed what Sindy's answer would be. The HouseGuest furthest away from Sindy's answer in each round would be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the winner. Kevin became the new Head of Household. The HouseGuests then participated in a task to give fortunes, good and bad, to each other. After being elected a Have by her fellow Housemates, Sarah was forced to pick three Houseguests to be Have-Nots for the week. She chose Bobby, Willow, and Zach. Zach was selected to be a masseuse for the afternoon, Godfrey was forced to wear a lobster costume for 24 hours, Bobby had to wear slop-filled boots for 12 hours, Bruno got to see special clips of the season, Brittnee got $42, Ashleigh received a video message from home, Willow got to write a letter to the jury house for the jurors, and Pilar got to steal a fortune from anyone and keep it for herself. She chose to take Godfrey's lobster costume. Bobby offered to be a pawn next to Brittnee, with the belief that Godfrey would be a backdoor option. On Day 43, Kevin nominated Bobby and Brittnee, with Bobby as the true target. On Day 44, Kevin, Bobby, Brittnee, Pilar, Ashleigh, and Sarah, with Bruno as the host, matched up in the "Delivering the Goods" Power of Veto competition. HouseGuests competed individually and must swing on a swing to see over a wall and look at a living room furniture set. After they had a good look, they must then recreate their living room on their side of the wall. The HouseGuest who recreates their living room in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto, along with a $10,000 gift card from the Brick. Kevin was the winner. The next day, Zach and Kevin were punished by Big Brother for never waking up to their wake up calls. They had to dress as French maids and had to clean the house and cater to the other HouseGuests. On Day 46, Kevin went against Zach and Ashleigh's wishes of backdooring Godfrey, did not use the Power of Veto, and kept his nominations the same. On Day 49, Bobby was evicted by a unanimous 7-0 vote. The HouseGuests immediately went to the backyard and hoped to take control in the "Talk of the Block" Head of Household competition. HouseGuests were asked questions based on events that took place during nomination ceremonies and Veto meetings. The HouseGuest with the most points after all of the questions have been asked will be the new Head of Household. Brittnee was the winner. The HouseGuests were then informed of the triple eviction, and Brittnee nominated Kevin, Pilar, and Zach for eviction. In a twist, Brittnee, as HOH, was ineligible to compete for the Power of Veto. Kevin, Pilar, and Zach, joined by Ashleigh, Sarah, and Bruno, tussled in the "Big Brother Workshop" Power of Veto competition. HouseGuests had to run down their lane to their workbench to search for gears with the names of the eight evicted HouseGuests. After taking their gears back to their station one at a time, they had to place their gears in their board to create a chain, putting the gears in the order that the HouseGuests were evicted. The first HouseGuest to place their gears in their spots and turn their handle to turn on their light bulb will win the Power of Veto. Bruno was the winner. At the Veto Meeting, Bruno decided to take Zach off the block, and Brittnee named Willow as the replacement nominee. The HouseGuests were then informed they had to cast one vote to save a nominee. On Day 49, Kevin and Willow were evicted after a vote of 3-2-0. Arisa then announced to the public that Canada would vote for two Have-Nots for week, and those two HouseGuests would then compete against each other in a secret competition to win a special power that is hidden under the floor of the Have-Not Room.
Following Kevin and Willow's eviction, the HouseGuests took on the "Pick Your Poison" Head of Household competition. In this endurance competition, HouseGuests had to pick one of three torture methods: the rack, the stockade, and the stake. Zach and Bruno were on the rack, Ashleigh and Godfrey were on the stockade, and Sarah and Pilar were on the stake. At some points, the HouseGuests could decide to switch devices. Ashleigh and Zach switched, and Zach and Bruno switched. The last HouseGuest standing on their torture device will be the new Head of Household. Ashleigh was the last one remaining and became the new Head of Household. Ashleigh considered going after Sarah due to Ashleigh's belief of Sarah having a great social game. Canada decided to name Brittnee and Sarah as Have-Nots, and they took it very hard. On Day 50, Ashleigh nominated Godfrey and Sarah for eviction, with Sarah as her target. On Day 51, everyone but Pilar challenged in the "Pin It to Win It" Power of Veto competition. HouseGuests were shown a video showing different Canadian cities. They then had to take turns and put push pins with the names of the cities into a Canadian map. For every city they got correct, they got one ball for a plinko machine. Each round, they raced to get one ball to land into each slot (R for the first round, A for the second, M for the third, etc.). The last person to land their ball in each round will be eliminated. The last person standing will win the Power of Veto, along with 250,000 Windom rewards points. Sarah was the winner of the Power of Veto. On Day 52, Brittnee and Sarah competed in a special, secret competition in The Vault to win a special Have-Not Super Power that is hidden under the floors of the Have-Not Room. The winner of the Have-Not Super Power would immediately remove one of Ashleigh's nominations right before the eviction vote and replace that nominee with a brand new one. The winner also has the option to change the second nomination as well. However, if the winner exposes this power, they would be evicted on the spot. Brittnee and Sarah raced to open the safe in the Have-Not room. They went to the Vault to solve equations based on clues hidden in the House. The first HouseGuest to solve all three equations and use the six numbers to crack the code will win the Have-Not Super Power. Brittnee was the winner. On Day 53, Sarah used the Power of Veto to take herself off the block, and Ashleigh named Brittnee as the replacement nominee. On Day 56, Brittnee used her Have-Not Super Power to remove herself and Godfrey from the block, she then re-nominated Bruno and Zach in their places, and Bruno was evicted by a vote of 4-0.
Following Bruno's eviction, the HouseGuests revved up their engines for the "100 Minutes of Hell" Head of Household competition. HouseGuests were required to lay in plexiglass coffins and hit a button inside their coffin when they felt 100 minutes had passed. The HouseGuest that hits their button closest to 100 minutes will be the new Head of Household and have a guaranteed spot in the final five. The two HouseGuests with the worst times will be the Have-Nots for the week. Brittnee and Zach became the Have-Nots for the week, and Sarah was the winner with a time of 98:04. The HouseGuests were paired up for a task, They had to wear a two-person apron and sample five different pizzas then figure out what toppings were on the pizzas. The pair who matches the most toppings will receive a $500 gift card from Pizza Pizza and a visit from a loved one. Godfrey and Ashleigh were the winners. The whole House was also treated with a pizza party and letters from home. On Day 57, Sarah nominated Ashleigh and Zach for eviction, with Zach as her target. Zach had a plan for Pilar to pitch a final four girls alliance to Sarah, have Sarah name Godfrey as the replacement nominee, then their alliance would pull a fast one and evict Godfrey. However, when Pilar talked to Sarah, Pilar broke under the pressure and the plan failed. On Day 58, the HouseGuests scrapped in the "Shomi the Veto" Power of Veto competition, sponsored by Shomi. HouseGuests played one at a time. They were required to watch a short clip, then they were shown where the movie poster went on the tablet. They then had to take their puzzle pieces and put the movie posters in the correct spot on the tablet. The HouseGuest that finishes their tablet in the fastest time will win a $5000 gift card from Shomi, along with the Power of Veto. Ashleigh was the winner. On Day 59, Godfrey was given a task. The HouseGuests were given random tasks, which had no purpose or meaning. Godfrey's mission was to have the HouseGuests go along with the tasks and have them complete them. If Godfrey can get the HouseGuests to complete the tasks, he will complete his mission and win a reward for the whole house. Godfrey accomplished his task, and the House was rewarded with a dance party complete with food. On Day 60, Ashleigh took herself off the block with the Power of Veto, and Sarah named Pilar as the replacement nominee. On Day 63, Zach was evicted by a 3-0 vote. The HouseGuests were then informed of the double eviction. Ashleigh, Brittnee, Godfrey, and Pilar immediately collided in the "Web of Flies" Head of Household competition. HouseGuests had to guide their fly through their web shaped puzzle. The first HouseGuest to get their fly through the maze and hit the buzzer will be the new Head of Household. Brittnee was the winner. Brittnee nominated Ashleigh and Pilar for eviction minutes later. All of the HouseGuests then headed to the backyard for the "Pit Stop to Veto" Power of Veto competition. The HouseGuests slid back and forth down their lane using their dollies to fill up their cups with oil, which they then used to fill up their jar at the end of their lane. The first HouseGuest to fill up their container, get their ball, and hit their button will win the Power of Veto. Ashleigh was the winner of the Power of Veto. At the Veto Meeting, Ashleigh removed herself from the block, and Brittnee named Godfrey as the replacement nominee. On Day 63, after Brittnee cast the tie-breaking vote, Pilar was evicted by a 2-1 vote.
Following Zach and Pilar's eviction, Ashleigh, Godfrey, and Sarah sought for a spot in the final three in the "The Voice of Housebots Past" Head of Household competition. HouseGuests were asked questions based on quotes said by evicted HouseGuests. However, all of the quotes were put through a speak-to-text, so HouseGuests could only listen to words for guidance. The player with the most points after all of the questions have been asked will be the new Head of Household. Sarah was the winner. The next day, Gary and Ika returned for the Big Brother Awards for the HouseGuests and glitzed and glammed them to perfection. The HouseGuests then got to watch special moments from the season. On Day 64, Sarah nominated Ashleigh and Godfrey for eviction. On Day 65, the final four clashed in the final "Fast Track to Finale" POV competition. HouseGuests had to match numbered boxcars signifying days in the house to correspond with buildings with events that occurred. The HouseGuest who matches all of the boxcars and events in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto. Ashleigh was the winner of the Power of Veto. The next day, Arisa announced a special eviction. On Day 66, Ashleigh cast the sole vote to evict Brittnee.
Following Brittnee's eviction, the final three were directed to the Vault. They were then locked in the Vault and were required to name one of the nine jurors to evict from the Jury, stripping them of their voting rights. They could not leave until they came to a unanimous decision. Their choice was kept a secret until finale night. Afterwards, Ashleigh, Sarah, and Godfrey engaged in their final battle in Part 1 of the last HOH in "The End of Time" HOH competition. Each HouseGuest had an hourglass filled with sand that would begin to drain out. The HouseGuests must take their buckets, fill them with sand, climb the stairs, and pour them into their hourglasses. The last HouseGuest with sand in their hourglass will win the first part of the final HOH and move on to Part 3. After 2 hours, Godfrey was declared the winner. On Day 68, Ashleigh and Sarah faced off in Part 2 of the Final HOH, "The Final Front-Gear". While competing individually, they had to connect clues to each of the different HouseGuests. The clues could apply to numerous HouseGuests, but the entire puzzle could only be completed one way. The HouseGuest that finishes faster will win Part 2 and face Godfrey in Part 3 on finale night. Ashleigh demolished the puzzle in four minutes, compared to Sarah's twenty minutes. Despite being out of the HOH competition, Sarah campaigned to both Ashleigh and Godfrey to evict the other. On Day 70, Ashleigh and Godfrey had the final showdown in Part 3 of the Final HOH "Jury Questions". The duo was asked A-or-B questions based on events that applied to members of the Jury. The HouseGuest with the most points after 9 questions will be the final Head of Household. After all 9 questions, and 3 tie-breakers, Godfrey became the final Head of Household. On Day 70, Godfrey cast the sole vote to evict Ashleigh. After the Jury asked their questions, they locked in their final votes. Arisa later revealed to the Jury that Ashleigh, Godfrey, and Sarah had to evict one member of the Jury, nullifying their final vote. They ultimately decided to nullify Jordan's vote. On Day 70, after receiving Jordan's nullified vote, Sindy, Kevin, Willow, Zach, Pilar, Brittnee, and Ashleigh's votes, Godfrey was deemed the runner-up and walked away with $20,000, and Sarah left the House with $100,000, a trip of a lifetime courtesy of Twistos, a home shopping spree from the Brick, and was deemed the winner of Big Brother Canada 3.
