Bhandu is a village in Mahesana district, state of Gujarat, India. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) away from Mahesana city and 17 Km away from Visanagar. Bhandu is a part of 5 gam Leuva Patidar samaj where the other 4 villages are Manund, Sander, Balisana, and Valam.

Too many years ago Bhandu known as a Vaibhand and later is known as a Bhandu because of Vaibhand Rushi (hindu Saint) who lived in this village. Bhandu has a 3 main parts Navo Madh, Vachali Pati and Masot Pati. Vachali Pati has more NRI other than 5 Gam Leuva patidar Samaj, mainly lived in USA. Bhandu produce good Businessmen, one of the Business person Mafatlal Patel lived in USA known as a Patel Brothers Grocery store, 48 frequencies store located in all state of USA. Kiritbhai Patel wins the election under Bhartiya Janta Party in 1995 Gujarat assembly and become the first person in the village who wins in big election. Bhandu village has separate primary Schools and high schools for girls and boys. T.K. vidhyalaya is for boys this school was the center of studies for nearby villages like Motidau, Jetalvasana and many other and Adarsh kanya vidhyalaya is for girls. Bhandu also contains a head post office of many villages, a Bank of baroda, a District bank of Mehsana. Bhandu is the only village in 5 gam Leuva Patidar Samaj which have both highway and railway facilities both direct connectivity to Bomaby to Delhi. It has a big hospital also. Major population of Bhandu is Patidar. Bhandu has 3 big Temples name are BRAHMANI MATAJI, VARAHI MATAJI and DEVI MATAJI, Bhandu has a too many Temples too. It has big Lake around 84 Bigha (13.50 Hectares)and connected with Sujalam Suflam Naher from Narmada River connecting to North Gujarat for helping Farmers and other purpose and it's credit goes to CM Narendrabhai Modi and his Government. LC institute of engineering college and PTC and B.Ed college located on Bhandu Highway.
