Beyond Jazz was the name of XM Satellite Radio's Commercial-Free Modern Jazz music channel, devoted to Modern Jazz, Funk-jazz, Free jazz and Acid jazz music. The program director for Beyond Jazz was Russ Davis. Beyond Jazz was on Channel 72 on XM Radio and on Channel 852 on DirecTV.
The channel was described as "The greats of the Jazz-fusion era, stars of Modern Electric and Acoustic Jazz, The New Jazz Singers, The Jazzy Jambands, Acid jazz and Techno Jazz." Beyond Jazz was removed from XM's lineup on November 12, 2008.
