Beryl spangled tanager
The beryl-spangled tanager (Tangara nigroviridis) is a colorful tanager of the Andean cloud forests. The species' range is from Venezuela to Bolivia. They nest in a mossy cups in tree forks. On Ecuador's west slope, they lay eggs in early March.
