Bernice B. Ortiz Zamora (born 1938) is a Chicana poet, "one of the preeminent poets to emerge from the Chicano movement of the 1960s and 1970s". She received a B.A. from Southern Colorado State College and, in 1986, her Ph.D. from Stanford University. Her first collection of poetry, Restless Serpents, was jointly published in 1979 with José Antonio Burciaga. She has taught at Santa Clara University since 1990.
