Bernhardt Design is an American modern furniture company. The company was founded in 1983 as a new line of commercial furniture under Bernhardt Furniture Company. Bernhardt Design is known for working with a wide variety of international designers and for their investment in programs supporting young designers and students. They sponsor an interdisciplinary course with Art Center College of Design students that allows students the opportunity for their designs to go into production. Bernhardt Design also sponsors ICFF Studio, a yearly scholarship program that gives young designers exposure at the ICFF Furniture Fair in New York City.
