Berichte von heute ("Today's reports") is a 30-minute radio news programme broadcast at 23.30 each Monday to Friday night by the German public-broadcasting corporations Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), based in Hamburg, and Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), based in Cologne. The programme is a round-up of the latest recorded reports received from the news correspondents of stations affiliated to the German public-broadcasting consortium ARD, introduced by a live studio presenter.
Produced on a weekly rotating basis by NDR and WDR, the programme has been on the air since 2 January 1979. It is currently broadcast by
