Benzoxepin is an oxygen-containing heterocycle consisting of a Oxepin ring and a benzene ring. There are three isomers:
The bicyclic ringsystem of the benzoxepins is part of certain naturally occurring compounds. E.g. Perilloxin (I) from Perilla frutescens (variant Acuta), and Tenual (II) and Tenucarb (III) from Asphodeline tenuior.
