Benjamin "Benny" Hollinger (April 10, 1885 - February 4, 1913) was a Canadian prospector. In 1909 he discovered the gold-bearing quartz dike that later became known as the Hollinger Mines. Not having sufficient capital to develop the mine site, he sold his claims to a syndicate of Noah Anthony Timmins and partners. He was paid $165,000 for his claim, which later produced more than 19 million ounces of gold worth $600 million (Canadian dollars).
