Benjamin Walsh

Benjamin Walsh (c. 1775 - 1818) was an English member of the Stock Exchange and politician, MP for Wootton Bassett from 1808 to 1812, when he was expelled from the House having been convicted of fraud.

In 1809 he was expelled from the Stock Exchange for "gross and nefarious conduct".

In 1812 he was convicted of defrauding Thomas Plumer of a considerable sum of money. He was pardoned by the King. He was however, expelled from the House of Commons.

His son was Benjamin Dann Walsh.
