Masaya's Fire Station

The Fire Department was founded in 1963 by a group of brave men led by Dr. Oscar Perez, who is the current commander, when he observed from his home to a nearby house was set on fire, sounding the aid to their friends, willing buckets which managed to smother the flames. From this moment, they decided to create the current fire department. Fire Department of Masaya is located a few blocks from the heart of the city, in the historic center, old railway station. This has several fire extinguishing units, rescue units, supply tanker, ambulance and pump support.
