Benešov nad Černou (German Deutsch Beneschau) is a village and municipality (obec) in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 57.05 square kilometres (22.03 sq mi), and has a population of 1,619 (as at 15 October 2007).
Benešov nad Černou lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Český Krumlov, 30 km (19 mi) south of České Budějovice, and 152 km (94 mi) south of Prague.
