Ben Rider (born Benjamin A Rider, February 1992) is an independent filmmaker working in the United Kingdom.

He spent most of his childhood travelling around, living in South Africa and Israel. In 2013, whilst studying in Queen Mary University of London, he completed his first short film Aquarius' Mule, starring Julia Papp.

Following that he focused on his first feature film, To Love Somebody, which completed post production during his final year in university. The film would later on enter into a legal dispute following a copyright infringement complication with one of the film's performers; resulting in its delayed release in 2014. Once To Love Somebody was finally released, it received two nominations from Maverick Movie Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Actress and won an Award of Merit for the feature film and film direction categories at Indie Fest.

After completing his studies in 2013, he went on to shoot his second and third feature films - the anthology Seven Devils, which has recently won the Silver Screen award at Nevada International Film Festival, and the yet to be released Forever Tomorrow.
