Bematistes umbra, the clouded bematistes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae feed on Adenia cisampelloides.
