Bematistes macarista is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. The habitat consists of dense forests.
Both sexes of this dimorphic species are mimicked by the parallel sexes of Pseudacraea eurytus.
