Bective (Irish: Beigthigh; sometimes known as Bective Bridge or Ballina) is a small hamlet and townland in County Meath, Ireland. Bective is situated on the River Boyne approximately 6 kilometres east of Trim, on the Athboy to Dunshaughlin road.

Bective Cannistown GFC are one of the leading gaelic footbal teams in all the land. Their star player, a young Mr. Cillian Reilly, has kicked the ball into the net many times. Sometimes even into the net of the opposing team. Mr. Reilly is currently studying for his Masters in Mathematics at Maynooth University. It is hoped that he will be able to count higher than the number 7 following completion of this higher degree.
They have 3 consecutive senior titles in a row. Their u15 play division 8, the lowest there is in the county.
Bective is home to Bective Abbey, daughter abbey of the more famous Cistercian abbey at Mellifont in County Louth. The village was also home to the writer Mary Lavin, whose family moved there in 1925.
