Becky Hartman Edwards is an American television producer and writer.

Hartman Edwards broke into comedy writing on the series The Sweet Life on the Comedy Channel starring Rachel Sweet and wrote alongside Michael Patrick King and Jon Stewart. She moved to Los Angeles in 1990 and began writing for In Living Color. She has written on numerous shows since then, including Living Single, The Larry Sanders Show, Sex and the City, American Dreams, Invasion, Life on Mars, Parenthood, Switched at Birth, The Astronaut Wives Club and the new FOX series Pitch. She developed a pilot for the USA network about a female modern-day Robin Hood. Hartman Edwards has been nominated for three Emmy Awards and one Writers Guild Award. She has also won a Television Critics Award and Peabody Award for her work on Switched at Birth.
