Baychunas (also known as Bayshonas (Kazakh: Бейшунас, Beyshunas, بەيشۋناس)) is a town in Atyrau Region, southwest Kazakhstan. It lies at an altitude of 24 m (79 ft) below sea level. It has a population of 1,864.
