Mūsa ibnʿĪsā ibn ʿAlī Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān ibn al-Manṣūr

Al-Ḥusayn ibn Al-Ḥasan ibn Al-Ḥasan ibn Al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAli ibn Abī Ṭālib †

The Battle of Fakhkh (Arabic: موقعة فخ‎‎) on 11 June 786 CE was fought between the forces of the Abbasid Caliphate, under Sulayman ibn Abi Ja'far, one of the sons of Caliph al-Mansur, and the supporters of a pro-Alid rebellion in Mecca under Husayn ibn Ali, a grandson of Hasan ibn Ali. The Abbasid army easily crushed the Alid rebellion at the wadi of Fakhkh near Mecca, and Husayn was executed along with many other members of the Alid house. One of the Alids, Idris ibn Abdallah, fled the battlefield to the Maghreb, and established there the Idrisid dynasty.
