Batrachedra psithyra is a species of moth of the Batrachedridae family. It is endemic to New Zealand.
B. psithyra was first described in 1889 by Edward Meyrick. Specimens have been collected in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson, and Invercargill.
The larvae feed on various ferns.
