Barbados Jazz Festival

The Barbados Jazz Festival was an annual jazz festival of the Caribbean island of Barbados. It was a week-long celebration held annually in January, a jubilant affair that attracted a cast of talented musical maestros to the streets of Bridgetown who played for hours every night in festivity. The annual event was a juxtaposition of musical art against the backdrop of traditional tropical life in Barbados. On December 4, 2010, the producers of the festival announced that it would be cancelled for 2011 due to budgetary constraints.
