An issue of specimen banknotes was prepared for, but not issued by the African Banking Corporation Limited's branch at Bulawayo, Rhodesia in around 1896 and around 1920. These banknotes are extremely rare. These notes are inscribed 'RHODESIA ISSUE' at the top.
