Bakhtiyar Akhmedov (born 5 August 1987 in Buynaksk, Dagestan) is a wrestler of Kumyk descent, representing the Russian Federation, and who has won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
He represented Dynamo Wrestling club, his coach Imanmurza Aliev.
On 29 August 2016, some non-official reports indicate, Artur Taymazov has been stripped off the 2008 Olympic gold medal due to positive test for doping
