Badger Hill (also, Badger Hill Diggings) is a former settlement in Nevada County, California. It is situated at an elevation of 2,552 ft (778 m) above sea level.
History
In autumn 1849, the first immigrants who came to Grass Valley, California as part of the California Gold Rush erected a cabin half a mile from the town of Badger Hill. Badger Hill became a hydraulic mining district in the 1850s. The Badger Hill and Cherokee Gravel Mining Company was incorporated in 1869.
