Bélizon is a town in French Guiana. In the 1950s, it was used as a station for the French Legionnaire up the river Comté and for the prisoners that were trained to cultivate the cacao tree in that area. It is about 3 hours by boat from Cacao (about 25 miles). There is no road into Bélizon and, as of 2007, no population.
