The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) was established in 2012. It oversees the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) for early education and care throughout Australia. It works with the federal, state and territory government departments to administer this system, operating as a statutory authority with a board.
